EBSCO Sign Group is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist for our production department. This position will oversee production planning and Bill of Materials.  The Manufacturing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining Build Plans and Bill of Materials to ensure the best production methods and materials are used to create a cost effective quality product.



Job Responsibilities


         Confer with the production teams to ensure best possible manufacturing plans

         Maintain and improve manufacturing Bill of Materials

         Coordinate with purchasing to help determine best suppliers and make/buy decisions

         Assist in quoting new or special offerings

         Assist in determining minimum and maximum inventory levels

         Lead process improvements and assist in Root Cause efforts

         Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results

         Confer with management or subordinates to resolve production problems, and/or complaints

         Recommend or implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency

         Plan and develop new products and production processes

         Communicate with team to maintain required work flow

         Interact with other departments to resolve customers on issues

Job Requirements


         High School Diploma or equivalent

         5 + year in manufacturing environment

         Ability to effectively maintain Bill of Materials and process plans

Essential Job Functions


         Manage yearly appraisal objectives for department employees

         Communication (written and verbal) skills

         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

         May require working on a computer for extended periods of time


Preferred Skills

         Associate's degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
