Inventory Control Clerk

Under general supervision, performs a combination of administrative or clerical tasks to support¬ warehouse and business operations, such as: maintaining records; receiving, preparing, or verifying documents; searching for and compiling information and data; and responding to routine requests with standard answers (by phone, in person, or by correspondence). The work requires a general knowledge of proper warehouse procedures. Follows a number of specific procedures by completing several repetitive steps performed in a prescribed or slightly varied sequence. Little or no subject matter knowledge is required. Years of Experience: 1-3 years

Job Responsibilities



  • Conduct cycle count audit/investigations of previous night's count to determine the root cause of the discrepancies.

  • Update cycle count metrics daily.

  • Profile and slot new and changed products in the system.

  • Create the necessary documents for intercompany inventory transfers (XDC/DOR SCR's).

  • Review systems inventory reports weekly and provide metrics to management.

  • Verify that the correct items are in the correct locations in the MOD and SR locations.

  • Responsible for conducting physical inventories or receipt audits

Job Requirements



  • High School Diploma or GED



  • Minimum of 2 years of previous inventory control experience



  • Minimum of 1 year previous forklift operating experience

  • Passed forklift certification.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
